Beekeeping and literary experiments with the ❛energy of bees❜
Energybee is a space that archives the work of Jeong GiHyun and Choi YongJun and publishes writing about bees and honey. Boris, our mascot bee, keeps you company throughout your visit.
Worker bees begin by building and cleaning the hive. They then take on many other tasks—including guarding the hive and caring for larvae—before setting out to gather nectar in the final stage of their lives.1

Jeong GiHyun
- Jeong began her literary career with the publication of “Farmer’s Blood” (「농부의 피」) in the literary webzine LIM. Her publications include A Person with a Sad Heart (『슬픈 마음 있는 사람』) and The Allure Next Door (『이웃집의 탐스러움』). She received Excellence Awards at the 48th Yi Sang Literary Award and the 27th Yi Hyo-seok Literary Award.
Choi YongJun
- Choi works as an agricultural reporter at The Financial News and serialized “Talking Concrete” (「말하는 공구리」) in Cava Life.
